Stay safe from fraud
- 1Applying for a government scheme is free. Don't pay agents who promise approval.
- 2Never tell anyone your OTP, PIN or ATM card number — not even a 'bank officer' on the phone.
- 3Money from schemes comes straight into your bank account (DBT). Keep Aadhaar linked to your bank.
- 4Download forms only from .gov.in websites.
- 5If you were cheated, call 1930 immediately or report at cybercrime.gov.in.
